The mission of the Maryland Dietetic Association is to be the advocate of the dietetic
profession serving the public. MDA promotes optimal health and nutritional status of
the population through the provision of direction and leadership for quality dietetic
practice, education, and research. The purpose of this site is to help our organization and its members fulfill its mission, and provide nutrition resources for the public. MDA is an affiliate of the American Dietetic Association. Members include Registered Dietitians (RD) and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTR). Many members are Licensed Dietitians-Nutritionists (LDN). Learn about MDA's role in the "Take 15 for the Health of it" statewide initiative. |
