Membership in a state
affiliate is a benefit of being a member of the American Dietetic
Association.
ADA provides the database
which lets MDA know who its members are and how to contact them. If
there are errors in your name or address you can correct them on the
ADA Website.
|
 |
Benefits of
membership in MDA include:
The Chesapeake Dietetic
Lines, (published five times each year), discounts on attendance fees
for MDA sponsored continuing education activities, networking
opportunities with other dietitians, and the opportunity to improve
our profession by getting involved in MDA committees and activities.
Elected positions within MDA can be used for leadership CPEUs in the
Professional Development Plan.

 |
How does MDA use its member
database? Mailings such as the Chesapeake Dietetic Lines and notices for continuing education events
sponsored by the MDA come from our database. We use e-mail addresses
to send out important notices to MDA members. The mailing addresses
are also rented to organizations so that they can send out brochures
for upcoming continuing education programs.
