Legislative Day 2012
Take a Day Off! Come to MDA's Legislative Day in Annapolis on February 23, 2012! Earn 2.0 CEUs!
MDA is well on its way to being one of the most politically active affiliates of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics! Following Legislative Day 2011, we were invited to participate on two committees convened by state legislators. In 2012, MDA will continue to enhance that effort as we work to support public policy which advances good nutrition, as well as continue to defend your career, your license, and your profession. In an era of increased interest in nutrition, an epidemic of chronic disease, and increasing competition from other professions, this is no small task. But it CAN be done--- with your participation! Since MDA is an all-volunteer organization, our effectiveness is dependent upon our members' volunteering! While we all have priorities at home and on the job, this is also a key priority. We politely request your participation at our Legislative Day 2012! MDA members are needed from districts all across Maryland!
