Position Description

Conducts nutritional assessments and recommends diets for children in residence at St Vincent Villa (SVV). Works in collaboration with the agency's Administrator for Centralized and Dietary Services and the assigned food service provider to ensure that menus for children in St Vincent Villa Residence and Villa Maria Schools (VMS) meet standards established by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE); The American Academy of Pediatrics and The National Association of Dieticians.

Upon request will review P&P and co - chair an advisory group related to MSDE nutritional guidelines for wellness.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. Masters preferred. Current Certification as Registered Dietician in good standing in the State of Maryland. Preferably two years of experience working with children. Experience working with children with psychiatric disorders and behavioral difficulty also preferred.
