Position Description

The National Center for Weight and Wellness (NCWW) is looking to hire a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) to work alongside our multidisciplinary patient care team.

The current position is for a part-time (flexible hours), virtual/telemedicine position.

Located in Washington, DC metro area - but primarily working with patients remotely via telemedicine, NCWW is a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic with strong focus on nutrition, behavioral, and medical care. Our healthcare providers support patients in obesity treatment and weight management, psychology and behavioral care, dietary and physical activity behavioral change, health/wellness and disease prevention, and additional aspects of health behavior change.

Candidates should have training and certification as a RDN, though exceptional candidates nearing the end of their training are welcome to apply. Ideal candidates are licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland, and/or Virginia. Additional training and certification (such as diabetes educator or health coach) is a plus.

Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, an empathic and patient-centered mindset, and interest in working in a team-based setting alongside physicians, psychologists, dietitians, and other health behavior-focused clinicians and administrators.
