2019 Call for Speakers
Speak at the Maryland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics 2019 Annual Meeting
The Maryland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (MAND) is seeking presentation proposals for our 2019 Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting is the premier educational and networking event for nutrition professionals in Maryland. Over 250 nutrition professionals will be in attendance. The 2019 meeting will take place on Monday, April 1st, 2019 at Martin’s West in Baltimore, Maryland.
The MAND Annual Meeting attracts nutrition professionals from diverse fields and, therefore, we are open to many topics pertaining to food, nutrition, or health. Presentation proposals should reflect cutting edge research and practical applications. Only advanced sessions (Academy level II or III) in acceptable topic areas will be accepted.
Since our meeting falls on April Fools Day, our theme will be "FOOLproof Nutrition: Fact VS. Fiction". You may tailor your proposal to this theme if desired but we are not limiting proposals to this theme.
If you are interested in speaking at the meeting, please complete the online speaker proposal form. The deadline for proposals is Friday, November 2, 2018 at midnight EST. Any proposals received after this date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis as determined by the Annual Planning Committee. Incomplete proposals will not be reviewed.
Up to two proposals per individual or group will be reviewed. Please do not submit more than two proposals. Proposals from individuals who have not presented at a previous MAND meeting are particularly encouraged. All conflicts of interest must be fully disclosed at time of proposal submission. Honorariums, travel and other fees are negotiated on a per speaker basis. Estimates for both are part of the submission process.
If you have any questions about or problems completing this form, please contact Kathy Egan at email@example.com
Selected speakers will be notified of their acceptance by mid-December.
