"How will healthcare change in Maryland because of the new administration?" "Learn what the effects the new administration in Washington is going to have here in Maryland."

  • Would you like to help make sure your license continues to keep unqualified people from practicing MNT?

  • Would you like to change dietitians’ image as the “food police?”

  • Would you like to build a strong network that can help you get appropriately reimbursed for what you do?

  • Would you like to know how your MAND Lobbyist is working for you 24/7?

Come to Annapolis and make an impact for your profession!
Your legislators often feel that they “get no respect” because most people think all the action takes place on Capitol Hill.  They don’t have any idea what you do, but do you know what they do?  These legislators make many decisions about our ability to practice in the state and nutrition regulations in schools and restaurants.  Who do you want them to learn about nutrition from?  Start the dialog!

On Wednesday, February 21, 2018 come together with your peers in Annapolis and go in a group to see individual legislators, tell them what you do, and exchange ideas about how you can help each other get good laws passed and help our mutual constituents get healthier.  As you follow up with your legislators afterward, you can soon be on a first-name basis and easily have their ear when you have concerns and requests.
