Awards & Recognition

Maryland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Awards for 2018

Each year the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) gives us the opportunity to recognize Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians in our state who have contributed to the field and to the profession. These awards are the Recognized Young Dietitian, Recognized Dietetic Technician, Emerging Dietetic Leader, Outstanding Dietitian, and Outstanding Dietetics Student. Below are the criteria for eligibility.

Please take a few minutes to read through the award descriptions below and nominate a professional or student for one of these prestigious awards. This is an opportunity to recognize our peers and demonstrate to the Academy that Maryland has some outstanding professionals in the field of nutrition and dietetics.

Please submit nominations via email to MAND Awards Chair, Megan Larson (presidentelect@eatwellmd.org), by February 9th, 2018.
