Daily responsibility will include clinical coverage in a varied acute care setting, with a specific focus on covering the Level III-B Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Candidates preferably have at least one year of acute care experience OR heavy inpatient clinical internship rotations.
Candidates are required to have a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition or a related field from an accredited college or university, be a Registered Dietitian, and also licensed in the state of Maryland. Applicants should have prior experience in electronic medical record documentation and in utilizing the Nutrition Care Process.
Strong critical thinking, flexibility, as well as good client and customer service skills are essential to success in this role. We are looking for independently motivated candidates with professional demeanor and communication skills. Ideal candidates should have prior experience with nutrition support as it applies to neonates, or an interest in learning this patient population.
