Director of Nutritional Services

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Nutritional Service Director assists in organizing, planning, directing and administering an effective and economic Nutritional Services Department. This includes operations for the Cafeteria and our Tower Cafe.

What You Need to Be Successful:
• B.S. and/or M.S. degree in Dietetics, or its equivalent required. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
• Licensed with the Maryland State Board of Dietetic Practice.
• ServSafe certification with the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation. Member of the American Dietetic Association. Minimum five years of institutional food service management required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows or successful completion of a hospital training program required.

UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center has a variety of dining options for our visitors, including the cafeteria, a cafe and a coffee shop.

The cafeteria is located on the lower level of the hospital near the human resources department. It offers hot and cold entrees and side dishes, soups, salad bar, pre-packaged grab and go items, ice cream, beverages, fountain sodas and more.
